At the same time, the hospital also sampled all 88 non-COVID-19 patients currently in severe departments such as Tetanus, Encephalitis, HIV/AIDS and chronic liver disease. All of these tests for SARS-CoV-2 were negative.

It is known that from June 11 when there was a case where an employee of the Information Technology Department screened through medical declarations with suspicious symptoms and tested positive for SARS-CoV-2, the Hospital for Thermal Diseases The region reported to the leaders of the Department of Health, urgently implementing rapid screening and tracing activities and planning isolation and sampling plans for all medical staff in the hospital, giving priority to urgent cases associated with the first case.Three days earlier, in the plan to do periodic screening tests for medical staff who directly come into contact with COVID-19 patients in the hospital, all results were negative.

Fifty -three  positive employees are being isolated and treated at the Department of Infection A-D. 52/53 employees were completely asymptomatic and all employees received 2 full doses of COVID-19 vaccine.

For cases of close contact with positive cases (F1), the hospital has used the upper floors as isolation places (these are departments that have converted into a COVID-19 treatment hospital from the beginning) weeks as directed by the Department of Health). The hospital is continuing to review and trace contact cases to cut off the infection chain as soon as possible. Continue to coordinate with HCDC to handle F1, F2 cases locally and strengthen disinfection of surfaces and personal items in the hospital environment.
