At 16:00 on the same day, the location of the storm's center was at about 19.0 degrees North latitude; 108.3 degrees East longitude, about 140 km southeast of Bach Long Vi island district; about 260 km from the mainland from Hai Phong to Nghe An. The strongest wind in the area near the center of the storm is strong at level 8 (60-75 km/h), level 10 gusts. The radius of strong winds from level 6, gusts from level 8 and above is about 120 km from the center of the storm.

It is forecasted that in the next 12 hours, the storm will move in the northwest direction, 15-20 km per hour. At 4:00 on June 13, the location of the storm's center was about 19.8 degrees North latitude; 106.2 degrees East longitude, right on the coastal waters from Hai Phong to Nghe An. The strongest wind in the area near the center of the storm is strong at level 8 (60-75 km/h), level 10.

In the next 12 to 24 hours, the storm will move in a northwesterly direction, at a speed of 15-20 km per hour, going inland and directly affecting the provinces/cities in the Northeast, North Central and Vietnam. weakened into a tropical depression followed by an area of ​​low pressure. At 4 pm on June 13, the central position of the low pressure area is about 20.6 degrees North latitude; 105.0 degrees East longitude, right on the mountainous area of ​​Thanh Hoa, Hoa Binh. The strongest wind in the center of the low pressure area dropped below level 6 (less than 40 km/h).

Danger zone in the East Sea in the next 24 hours (strong winds of level 6, gusts of level 8 or higher): North of 17.5 degrees north latitude; West longitude 109.5 degrees East longitude. All vessels operating in the hazard zone are at high risk of being impacted by strong winds and tornadoes.

Heavy rain warning: From now (June 12) to the end of tomorrow (June 13), in the North and the area from Thanh Hoa to Thua Thien Hue, there will be moderate rain, heavy rain, very heavy rain and thunderstorms in some places. the total popular rainfall is 80-150 mm/period, in some places over 150 mm/period; Northern Delta, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Hoa Binh, Son La, Phu Tho regions have heavy to very heavy rains with a common rainfall total of 150-250 mm/period, in some places over 350 mm/batch.

Heavy rain in the North West region is likely to last until June 14.
